Funding

The BSHP distributes funds to support activities in the history of philosophy. We offer three types of funding:

• Conference and event funding: we offer major (up to £2000) and standard (up to £1000) awards to support academic conferences, seminars, and workshops. Deadlines: 31 March and 31 October
• Public engagement funding. Deadline: 31 March
• Funding for scholarly activities. Deadline: 31 January
  • Predoctoral funding for scholarly activities. Deadline: 28 February

All BSHP members are eligible to apply for funding, for events both within and outside the UK. To apply for funding, at least one of the applicants must be a member of the BSHP. Apply for membership here
