Joining the Society
The BSHP welcomes as a member anyone who is interested in the history of philosophy. Our members come from all parts of the world and have interests across the whole range of the history of philosophy.
Types of Membership
Full membership brings with it a subscription to the British Journal for the History of Philosophy, which works out as much cheaper than just subscribing to the journal at the personal rate. Alternatively, one can join the society at a cheaper rate and not subscribe to the journal. Price options are available below.
All members are added to the BSHP email list and receive occasional notifications about events. Members are entitled to apply for conference funding and to attend BSHP-funded events at a discount.
