On April 18th and 19th, King’s College London will host a conference on the topic of virtue in Aristotle, with an emphasis on how this theme emerges in works other than the Nicomachean Ethics.

Submissions open for the 2023 BSHP Graduate Essay Prize competition!

The prize of £1000 is awarded annually to the writer of an essay that makes a significant contribution to the history of philosophy. Submission deadline is 30 November.

Graduate Bursaries: Kant and Hegel on nature

Registration is open for “Nature in Kant and Hegel” – A Joint Conference of the Hegel Society of Great Britain and the UK Kant Society, 6-8 September 2023 at St Edmund Hall, Oxford.

The BSHP is funding several small graduate student/unsupported early career researcher bursaries available to defray some of the travel and conference costs. If you would like to be considered, the deadline is Wednesday 9 August.
